Industrial Ball Valves

Industrial ball valves are a type of valve used in industrial applications to control the flow of fluids, gases, and slurries through a pipeline. They are commonly used in industries such as oil and gas, chemical processing, and water treatment, among others.

Industrial ball valves consist of a spherical ball with a hole in the center that can be rotated to control the flow of fluid. When the ball is in the closed position, the fluid is blocked, and when the ball is rotated to the open position, the fluid can flow through the valve.  Industrial Ball Valves are known for their reliability, durability, and ease of use.

There are several different types of industrial ball valves, including:

  1. Floating ball valves: Floating ball valves have a ball that is not fixed in place, but instead floats between two seats. This design allows for flexibility in alignment and reduces the chance of leakage.
  2. Trunnion ball valves: Trunnion ball valves have a ball that is supported by a trunion or axle, which reduces the amount of torque needed to operate the valve.
  3. Three-way ball valves: Three-way ball valves have three ports, allowing the valve to be used to control the flow of fluid between three different pipelines.

They are designed to withstand high temperatures, pressure, and corrosive environments. Industrial ball valves come in a variety of sizes and materials, including stainless steel, carbon steel, and brass. Some ball valves feature a variety of options, including manual or automatic operation, different end connections, and special coatings or linings to protect against corrosion.

Overall, industrial ball valves are an essential component in many industrial processes, providing a reliable and efficient way to control the flow of fluids, gases, and slurries through pipelines.
